Missing Boy From Enoch

“Christopher Robin Coan was last seen leaving his job on September 3rd and hasn’t been seen since. There has been no bank activity and authorities are suspecting foul play.”

When I read this story, it occured to me that something is very familiar about the place in which Christopher turned up missing. Enoch, while bearing no geographical significance, was the name of the one person in the Bible who walked in such close fellowship with God that one day he simply dissappeared. He could be consider one of the first cases of the rapture. Nonetheless, Enoch lived 365 years in close fellowship with God and vanished because God took him. There is not another person in the Bible that was taken in the manner.

It’s not to say that this was the case with Christopher but I find it to be very interesting that he’s been missing since September 3rd with no sign of being found. I certainly pray that if he hasn’t been whisked away by God that he would be returned to his home safely.

Disappearing from Enoch, things that make you go hmm…
